The projects that best represent the spirit of Get Old will be featured to Pfizer’s community of almost 400,000 people on Facebook and Twitter. Projects will also have the opportunity to reach millions more through media opportunities. All projects submitted will have a home on our Indiegogo page.
Throughout the summer, Pfizer will be asking the Get Old community to weigh in on which projects they feel are the most impactful. Four projects will be voted down to two; ultimately, the project selected by Pfizer as best meeting the program’s criteria will be awarded a $50,000 grant and a day of support from Pfizer employees at Pfizer in New York. This winner will be announced on August 18, 2016.
Project Get Old is a program by Pfizer, in partnership with Indiegogo, based on the idea that age doesn’t have to dictate health. Pfizer’s goal is to showcase and garner support for as many projects as possible that improve quality of life as we age. The Get Old community will vote on which projects are the most impactful, thus making themselves a part in improving the future of aging as well. The winning project as chosen by Pfizer will ultimately receive a $50,000 grant from Pfizer and a day of support from Pfizer employees at Pfizer in New York.
